Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_44_Mass_Rebuild

Regenerating the autotools files avoids most of the patches, and also fixes
an issue with GCC 15 due to an old version of AC_TYPE_SIGNAL which is not
compatible with C23.
