URONode is intended to be called from systemd, ax25d or inetd. It doesn't need any command line arguments. See the uronode(8) manual page. You need to have correctly configured ax25 port to use URONode. URONode systemd service with socket activation is installed for you. This works similarly as inetd - systemd spawns URONode when there is incoming traffic detected on the preconfigured TCP port. This is by default disabled, to enable it: systemctl enable uronode.socket systemctl start uronode.socket By default it listens on all interfaces on TCP port 3694. Systemd default is used for maximum number of allowed connections / instances (the exact value can be found in the systemd.socket manual page). These parameters can be overriden by creating /etc/systemd/system/uronode.socket.d/local.conf file with your custom settings, e.g.: [Socket] ListenStream=3694 MaxConnections=64 For more details see systemd.socket manual page. To run URONode from ax25d, /etc/ax25/ax25d.conf should contain something like this: # AX25 Port ax0 # Belows SSID can not be the same as your netrom node SSID! If you want to use it, copy it to /etc/xinetd.d/uronode and edit it so that it contains: disable = no Then make sure xinetd is installed.
